U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Brinken will arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday to strengthen Washington’s partnership with India. The US State Department issued a statement stating that this visit is intended to reaffirm the US commitment to strengthen the partnership between the two countries and highlight cooperation in this field. Earlier, he stated in a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that he would meet with the US State Department. Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
The statement also stated that Foreign Minister Brinken’s visit provides an opportunity to continue high-level bilateral dialogues and strengthen the India-US global strategic partnership. Aviation reporters reported that the two sides will consider the strong and multifaceted bilateral relationship between India and the United States and the possibility of further strengthening. The talks will focus on regional and global issues of common concern, including recovery from the Covid19 pandemic, the Indo-Pacific region, Afghanistan and the United Nations cooperation.
