Herve Renard, the coach of Saudi Arabia, and striker Saleh Al-Shehri have told investigators that each player received a Rolls Royce following their victory over Argentina.
When the athletes returned from Qatar, it was previously announced that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud would give each of them a Rolls Royce Phantom. But Renard has dispelled the rumours, claiming that “there is nothing factual about this.”
“It is not the right time to acquire something right now because our federation and ministry of sport are both very important organisations. We have just played one game, but we have two crucial [group stage] games left, and we’re hoping for more “During a news conference, Renard reportedly said.
