The much-awaited web series of Amazon Prime Video, Panchayat 2 that was scheduled to be released on 20th May 2022, had a preponed release on 18th May. The reason for it may be anything, the fans of the show aren’t complaining; and why should they complain. After all, their favorite characters from the series are back with loads of innocent humor and their slow village lifestyle.
The storyline of Season 2 picks up from where it ended in Season 1, the accidental meeting between Abhishek and Rinki (Pradhan’s daughter). Now, what happens between them is likely to unfold as the new season progresses. This season will also see introduction of some new characters, who will be pivotal in taking the story forward. YouTuber Satish Ray has been roped in for Season 2 and so has been actor Sunita Rajwar.
The series has been divided into 8 episodes, with each having a running time of about 30-35 minutes or so. It will interesting to see as to how many memes come out of the Season 2. The best one from Season 1 has to be ‘Gazab Bezzati Hai’.
