The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on March 31. Gujarat Titans (GT), the defending champions, and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings will face off in the opening game (CSK).
The BCCI, which oversees cricket in India, is debating whether to host an IPL 2023 opening ceremony. Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia, two actors, will reportedly perform during the inaugural ceremony, upping the glam element.
On March 31, right before the start of the event, the opening ceremony is anticipated to start around 7:30 pm IST.
A lavish opening ceremony was also a part of the inaugural Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023, which was held last month.Punjabi music artist AP Dhillon, Kiara Advani, and Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon all gave performances at the occasion.
