The FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023, which will begin in Odisha on January 13, 2023, saw the first ticket purchased by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday. According to officials, he paid Rs 500 for the ticket.
Dilip Tirkey, the president of Hockey India, presented Patnaik with a ticket for the first-day games, which will be contested on January 13 at Rourkela’s Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium. The World Cup will be held in the recently built Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela and Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar from January 13 to 29 of the following year.
