The International Cricket Council announced today that the 2021 Cricket World Cup teams will be hosted by the Indian Cricket Control Council (BCCI) from October 17th October to 14 November at the United Arab Emirates teams were selected based on the team results on March 20, 2021. The defending champion of the West Indies is in the first group, plus former champions from England, Australia, South Africa and two qualified players in the first round.
India and Pakistan are in the second group with the former Indian champions, as
well as Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan and two other players who qualified
for the first round. Eight teams will participate in the first round,
including automatic qualifying. Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, as well as the
other 6 people, have reserved seats for the 2019 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup
qualifiers, and the game schedule will be announced in due course
