On Monday, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez appeared before Patiala House Court in relation to the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving wealthy conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. She was named in the second additional charge sheet that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued in the case.
The Bollywood actress has been granted temporary bail, according to the most recent information. Shailender Malik, an additional sessions judge, requested a response from the ED regarding the bail plea. Her usual bail is still pending before the court till then. The court granted interim bail to Jacqueline on a bail bond of Rs 50,000 at the plea of her attorney.
Earlier, Fernandez’s fixed deposits worth Rs 7.2 crore had been seized by the investigation agency.
