Indian Film Personality Award 2021 will be given to Hema Malini and Prasoon Joshi says I&B Minister Anurag Thakur

I&B Minister Anurag Singh Thakur has reported that the Indian Film Personality Award for the year 2021 will be given to Hema Malini and Prasoon Joshi. 

Reporting the honors, Mr. Thakur said, their commitments to the field of Indian film spread over many years and their work enchanted crowds across ages. Tending to a question and answer session in Shimla today, he said, Hema Malini and Prasoon Joshi are Indian realistic symbols who are appreciated and regarded the world over. He said, the honor will be given in the 52nd International Film Festival of India in Goa. The Film Festival will run from November 20 to 28. 

Hema Malini is an Indian entertainer, essayist, chief, maker, artist and government official. She made her acting introduction in 1963 with the Tamil film Idhu Sathiyam and later on, entered the Hindi film as the lead entertainer of Sapno Ka Saudagar in 1968.

Prasoon Joshi is an artist, essayist, lyricist, screenwriter and specialized subject matter expert and advertiser. He distributed his first book of composition and verse at 17 years old. He got the National Film Award for Best Lyrics twice for his work in Taare Zameen Par and Chittagong. In the year 2015, the Government of India has granted Padma Shri for his commitments towards the field of Arts, Literature and Advertising.
