Irrfan Khan’s last film ‘The Songs of the Scorpions’ to get theatre release in 2021

Late actor Irrfan Khan’s last film titled “The Song of The Scorpions” is set to release on the big screen in 2021. The film is directed by Anup Singh and Produced by Feather Light Films and KNM. The film also stars Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani and veteran actor Waheeda Rehman.

The movie is about an independent tribal women (Farahani) who tries to learn scorpion singing from her grandmother (Rehman) to overcome a brutal betrayal. Irrfan Khan plays the role of a camel trader in the film. The movie had its world premiere at the 70^th Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland on 9^th August, 2017.

Irrfan Khan died at the age of 54 on April 29 due to colon infection. He also featured in international projects like The Namesake, Life Of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, etc. His last Hindi movie was Angrezi Medium.
