Rohit pulled a hamstring during his previous franchise match with Kings XI Punjab stated by Mumbai Indians team management. “Rohit Sharma has suffered left leg hamstring strain during Mumbai Indian’s last outing. Rohit has made good progress over last four days, while the management is taking one day at a time monitoring the recovery process in consultancy with BCCI and Rohit has been advised rest for the match against CSK. Keiron Pollard will lead the team tonight”, said a release from Mumbai Indians.

MI elected to bowl first under the captaincy of Kieron Pollard after winning the toss. “We are gonna bowl first. Don’t expect wicket to change much and hopefully there’s some dew.
