Sargam Koushal, Mrs. World 2022, returns the crown to India after 21 years

After a gap of 21 years since the last Indian woman to claim the title of Mrs. World, Sargam Koushal has done it.

Before beginning her preparations to compete in the pageant, Koushal, 32, was employed as an English literature instructor. She is from Jammu and is wed to Aditya Manohar Sharma, a naval officer in the Indian Navy.

Koushal revealed her thoughts after winning the pageant and added that as a soldier’s wife, it was her chance to make India proud. She expressed gratitude to her husband for his support as she transitioned into Mrs. World. She stated, “Usually the spouses are the invisible troops doing the dirty labour behind the curtains.
