On September 7, the digital release of Nelson Dilipkumar’s crime drama film Jailer, starring Rajinikanth will coincide with the theatrical release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan. “Jailer” is set to make its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video.
“With Jailer, we aimed to produce a show that would feature Thalaivar in a position that was purely action-oriented. The incredible support from viewers and the praiseworthy words from the media have humbled us,” said writer and director Dilipkumar.
Advance ticket sales for Shah Rukh’s Jawan are shattering all previous records. The Atlee-directed film is set to open in theatres on September 7, but it has already made approximately Rs 17 crore in revenue by selling more than five lakh tickets nationwide.
