Given the kind of form the Indian batter is in right now, Suryakumar Yadav cannot possibly do anything wrong. Mr. 360 has often shown his worth and has always stepped up when the team most needed him.
The top-ranked T20I batsman recently became just the second Indian and the first to amass 1000 runs in the shortest format in a year. Suryakumar reached the milestone on Sunday in Melbourne during the T20 World Cup play against Zimbabwe.
The second player to surpass 1000 runs in a calendar year is Pakistani wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan. In 2021, he scored 1326 runs in 26 innings.
