The American Indian Abhimanyu Mishra becomes the youngest grandmaster in the world

On Wednesday, 12-year-old Indian boy Abhimanyu Mishra became the youngest grandmaster of chess. In 2002, Abhimanyu of New Jersey broke the master Sergei Karjakin’s record of 12 years and 7 months.

Abhimanyu, 12 years old, 4 months and 25 days, raised his third GM specification in Budapest, and later passed the 2500 Elo rating limit. He did it at the Vezerkepzo GM Mix Championship in Budapest.

On August 12, 2002, Karjakin, who was only 12 years old and 7 months old, won the title of master. Mishra, born on February 5, 2009, defeated the 15-year-old Indian Grand Master Leon Luke Mendonka with black pieces and won the highest chess championship. Chess.com reports.
