In an effort to one day send people back to the Moon, the American space agency Nasa launched its most potent rocket on Wednesday. The 98-meter-tall Artemis spacecraft rose into the air in a magnificent kaleidoscope of light and sound.
The next mission, scheduled for 2024, will carry four men around the moon, with the possibility of a 2025 landing.
The Space Launch System, a 98-meter rocket, is the most potent rocket NASA has ever produced.
By 2017, the rocket was anticipated to have completed its dry run. NASA is expected to have spent 93 billion dollars on the project by 2025, according to government watchdogs.
