The Doge meme, an image of a Shiba Inu dog, replaced Twitter’s blue bird emblem on Monday. Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, frequently promotes the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which has been linked to the image.
The microblogging website’s late April Fool’s joke looks to be this modification in the logo. Following the modification of Twitter’s design, Musk tweeted about it via a meme and uploaded screenshots of an earlier Twitter exchange in which a user requested that Musk purchase the social media platform before changing its logo to a “doge.”
The ‘Dogefather’ at one point, Elon Musk is well recognised for being a huge supporter of Dogecoin. Through his tweets, he has in the past influenced the token’s price and helped resurrect “ol’ doge.” Shiba Inus took the place of the blue birds, and in a single day Dogecoin’s value increased by 25%.
