On its official Facebook page, PUBG Mobile India recently announced that all servers and user access to the game will be shut down on 30th October in India. This step came in the wake of the Indian Government’s decision to ban the game on 2nd September 2020. The ban was implemented under Section 69A of Indian IT Act of 2009.
The Facebook post also mentioned that PUBG Corporation will soon cease their partnership with Tencent and are in the process of bringing in a resolution that will comply with the existing laws of India. This may certainly give a ray of hope to all the PUBG lovers in the country.
PUBG Mobile game has approximately 33 million active users in India.
