On Sunday, Signal messaging app rolled out new features for its iOS (5.3.1 version) and Android (5.3.7) users, globally. This update (customized wallpapers and stickers) makes it on par with other mainstream chat apps.
Chat wallpapers have arrived! Customize wallpapers for each of your chats or just set a default background for everyone if your patience is wallpaper thin. Now available in Signal 5.3 for Android and iOS. pic.twitter.com/IxAxQUCm9n

Users can configure the wallpapers, either to the background as default or for individual chats. They can also upload their photo in place of the predefined wallpaper.
It has been confirmed that the first official animated sticker pack on Signal will be that of “Day by Day” by Miguel Ángel Camprubí. The app will allow users to design their own APNG animated stickers, even in the Desktop version as well. The best part is that users can share these sticker packs on multiple chats.
Another addition that has been added to Signal is the About option in the profile.
