Women’s T20 competition to be held between 29 July – 7 August

The Women’s T20 rivalry at the Commonwealth Games 2022 will run from July 29 to August 7 at Edgbaston. The opposition will be an eight-group occasion and the gathering stage will run up to August 4. The semi-finals will happen on August 6 while the last, just as the season finisher for the third spot (bronze decoration), will go on August 7.

“With 11 days of swimming and diving, 8 days of cricket, 8 days of gymnastics and 7 days of athletics, including the marathon, the summer of 2022 is set for a spectacular home Games,” the authority site of the Commonwealth Games said, as detailed by ESPNcricinfo. “The Birmingham 2022 rivalry plan includes more decoration occasions for ladies than men without precedent for Commonwealth Games history, just as a completely incorporated para-sport program,” it added.

This is just the second time that cricket is including in the Commonwealth Games, yet it is a presentation for the ladies down, just as the T20 design. Prior, men’s 50-over rivalry was important for the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur in 1998. Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, England, and a country from the Caribbean have all been equipped for the occasion.

The eighth spot in the competition will be taken by the champs of a passing occasion to be held by January 31, 2022.
