India will open the first capsule taxi between Noida Airport and Noida Film City. According to the latest report, once it takes off from Noida Airport, it will start operating on the runway.Pod taxi is a popular mode of transportation in several western countries, each car can carry 4 to 6 passengers. According to reports, the Indian Ports, Railways and Ropeway Co., Ltd. (IPRCL) submitted the final DPR (Detailed Project Report) of the capsule taxi project to the Yada Expressway Industrial Development Authority on June 13, 2021. 14 kilometers from Cinema City to Noida Airport. According to reports, in March this year, Yeida was employed by the central government agency IPRCL to prepare a pod taxi project for DPR to improve the communication between Juar Airport and Cinema City.
In this context, the managing director of Yeida stated that this important project will provide a seamless connection between the residential and industrial areas between Cinema City and Noida International Airport. He added that they have begun to analyze and study FREP to ensure that it can propose changes if necessary, and then submit it to the UP government for approval. According to Yeida officials, the project was previously proposed to be built on an overpass, and then DPR suggested that it be built on the ground. According to DPR, the corridor will pass through different sections, such as 28, 29, 30, and 32.
