Parliament passes bill to cancel three farm laws

Parliament passed the bill to annul the three homestead laws by means of voice vote on Monday, the main day of the colder time of year meeting. 

Horticulture serve Narendra Singh Tomar put the Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 in Lok Sabha. Congress pioneer Adhir Ranjan Choudhury requested a conversation on the bill however was denied by Speaker Om Birla. 

A solitary bill was acquainted with repeal the three laws-the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance, Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020. 

The bill was passed by means of voice vote in the midst of sloganeering by resistance MPs. 

Tomar set the bill in the Raya Sabha soon after the housed reconvened at 2 pm. 

Before the movement was taken on for the section of the bill, agent executive Harivansh permitted Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge to represent two minutes. 

He said as both the public authority and the resistance groups are for annulment of the laws, so there was no requirement for any conversation on the homestead repeal bill. 

Like in the lower house, Rajya Sabha too passed the bill by means of voice vote and without conversation.
