Focus has delivered 402 crore rupees to Punjab Under Jal Jeevan Mission. In the flow monetary year, the Punjab has planed to give Tap Water Connections to eight lakh 69 thousand country families. Jal Shakti Ministry said, Central asset of north of 1,000 656 crore rupees has been assigned to the State for current monetary year, which is almost multiple times the portion for 2020-21.
Jal Jeevan Mission was declared by PM Modi on fifteenth August, 2019, with the intend to give guaranteed regular water supply to each provincial home by 2024.
