PM lays the foundation for Rs 36 230 Crore Ganga highway, the longest in the UP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi these days set the inspiration stone of the 594-km Ganga main road in Uttar Pradesh’ Shahjahanpur district.

beginning close to Bijauli village in Meerut, the expressway is until Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj. it’ll undergo Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj districts of the state.it arecome the longest expressway of Uttar Pradesh, connecting the western and japanese regions of the state.

The six-lane expressway, that is expandable to eight lanes, will be designed at a value of over Rs 36,230 crore.

A 3.5 km-long air strip for aiding emergency pop out and landing of Indian Air Force planes also will be made on the main road in Shahjahanpur
