On Tuesday, PM Narendra Modi will be visiting Prayagraj to attend a program that will witness attendance of 2 lakh women. This event is being conducted as part of the PM’s mission to empower women at the grassroot level.
The focus of this mission is to provide resources, skills and incentives to the women, and for its successful implementation, PM Modi will transfer Rs. 1000 crore in the accounts of Self Help Groups.
During the program, PM will be also transferring Rs. 4,000 to the accounts of Business Correspondent-Sakhis as first month’s stipend; there are 20,000 beneficiaries in this category. He will also transfer more than 20 crore to over 1 lakh beneficiaries, as part of the the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Scheme.
