During a webinar organized by Ministry of Education and Skill Development on 21st February 2022 to map the positive announcements in Budget 2022 with regard to the education sector, PM Modi said the vision is to empower the youth of the country.
He said that the recently-announced budget will play a critical role in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP). A lot of emphasis is being given to five things to the education sector, including Universalization of quality education, Skill Development, Urban Planning and Design, World-class foreign universities in India and AVGC (Animation Visual Effects Gaming Comic.)
PM Modi also talked about development of National Digital University, which will ensure education for all, especially for students in villages; dalit, backward, tribal or from any socio-economic set up. The existing digital educational infrastructure in the country – One Class One Channel, e-VIdya, Digital Labs, etc. have been set up to empower the youth through education.
