Elon Musk took control of Twitter late on Thursday after concluding the transaction. One of his first acts as the microblogging site’s owner was to fire key employees, including the CEO Parag Agrawal and the head for legal, public policy, trust, and safety at Twitter, Vijaya Gadde.
Agrawal succeeded Jack Dorsey, the company’s co-founder, as CEO last November after being appointed to the position. Even when he owned the majority of the company, Elon publicly criticised the executive team.
According to calculations by Bloomberg News, Parag Agrawal, who took over as CEO of Twitter less than a year ago, is eligible to receive about $50 million, or 412 crore. Vijaya Gadde and Ned Segal might each collect around 305 crore and 140 crore, respectively.
