Apurva Chandra, the Union Secretary of Information & Broadcasting Ministry, went to Ayodhya on Thursday to monitor the ongoing Ram Temple building activity at Ram Janmabhumi. According to Mr. Apurva Chandra, development on the temple’s first level (Garbh Grah of Ramlala) is already well under way and is expected to be finished by December 2023.
The Secretary said that pilgrims and visitors will improve job possibilities there. The Secretary said that Ayodhya’s overall development, which includes building new hotels and four-lane roadways, is ongoing.
Currently, he claimed, over 25,000 worshippers visit Ayodhya every day, and on significant days, almost a lakh.
