WhatsApp introduces group calls with up to 31 people

A new feature that enables group calls with up to 31 individuals is being made available to Android users by the Meta-owned messaging service WhatsApp. The calls tab has received a few small upgrades as part of this release.

Prior to now, WhatsApp supported group calls with up to 32 participants, but users could only choose 15 contacts to initiate such calls. Users will now have the choice to begin group calls with up to 32 individuals thanks to this new upgrade, including the caller who initiates the conversation.

To improve user experience, security, and privacy, WhatsApp keeps developing new features and functionalities.

In order to improve the quality of video calls on its platform, WhatsApp recently added screen sharing. It recently debuted the Edit message feature, which was eagerly anticipated. With this functionality, users have a 15-minute window in which to edit messages that have already been delivered.
