On Sunday Police arrested 10 people on charges of desecrating temples and attacking the homes of Hindu minorities in the Khulna district of Bangladesh.
After a local organization opened a case in the Rupsha upazil district of Khulna, the police raided the defendant’s residence.
There was an incident on Saturday in which a large number of criminals attacked Hindu houses and temples in the village of Xili near Rupshaupazila in Khulna District. According to local media reports, the attack destroyed six temples and destroyed several statues. He also attacked citizens.
According to one version, the incident began with a small quarrel between two groups of people singing Kertan during namaz on Friday night. After the incident,police officers and local government officials arrived in the village. After additional police forces were sent to the area, the situation was brought under control.
