Tomorrow will mark the start of the second phase of the parliamentary budget session. The second leg of the session will last until the sixth of the following month and include a total of 17 sittings.
On January 31, President Droupadi Murmu addressed a joint session of both Houses of Parliament to kick off the budget session. Up until February 13th, the first part of the Parliamentary session was in session. There were a total of 10 sittings held throughout that time. The Union Budget 2023–2024 and the Motion of Appreciation to the President’s Speech were topics of discussion during the first phase.
