At the RIL 45th Annual General Meeting on Monday, company chairman Mukesh Ambani stated that Jio, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd., will begin rolling out the “world’s largest” “standalone” 5G services for its users in major cities in the following two months.
“Jio 5G will be the biggest and most cutting-edge 5G network in the world. Jio will roll out the most recent 5G technology, known as standalone 5G, which is independent of our 4G network, according to Ambani.
By October, the Center hopes to start rolling out 5G, which it claims can deliver broadband speeds roughly ten times quicker than 4G. According to Ambani, Reliance Jio has budgeted 2 lakh crores for a 5G network. He declared that by Diwali, 5G services would be available in important cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata.
