Reserving a spot for coronavirus disease (Covid19) vaccinations will now be easier as the government has partnered with Facebook’s messaging app WhatsApp.
A partnership between the Union’s Ministry of Health and Welfare, the citizen engagement platform MyGovIndia and WhatsApp will enable people eligible for vaccinations to make appointments by phone.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavia tweeted Tuesday: “Opening a new era of human convenience. It is now easy to pre-order seats for the COVID19 vaccine on your phone in minutes. A couple of minutes”.
The CEO of WhatsApp Inc (CEO) made a similar message: “Today we partnered with @MoHFW_INDIA and @mygovindia so that people can make appointments for vaccinations via WhatsApp. Spread this information, ”Cathcart tweeted.
“Revolutionize the lives of ordinary people with technology! # COVID19 vaccination certificate via MyGov Corona support in 3 easy steps. Save contact: +91 9013151515.Write and submit “covid certificate” to WhatsApp. Enter OTP. Get certified in seconds, ”the Minister of Health’s office tweeted.
