Culture and Artistry to take Centre Stage at 23rd ‘Hunar Haat’, to be held in UP

The 23rd ‘Hunar Haat’ will be held from 18th December till 27th December at Numaish Ground, Panvadiya in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The event will be inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. ‘Hunar Haat’ is a platform for indigenous master artisans to showcase their work. 

The event would be graced by dignitaries, including Khadi and Village Industries Commission Chairman Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena; Union Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Mukhtar Ababs Naqvi and Shri Sidharth Nath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister for Khadi and Villages Industries and MSME.

Besides display of artisans’ work, the event will witness cultural programmes and a Kavi Sammelan. Speaking about the event Minister Naqvi said that this will be an occasion to enjoy the communal harmony of India’s diversity. People will also enjoy a variety of delicacies on offer in the event. 

He further added that the event is expected to see craftsmanship of artisans from Bihar, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Nagaland, Punjab, Uttarakhand and many other states of India.
