Cyclone Gulab, which crossed Odisha and hit Andhra Pradesh two days ago, bringing heavy rains to Calcutta, among other areas, may have subsided now, but is expected to intensify in another cyclone formation in the coming days.
The weather system currently looms over Telangana and the adjacent regions of Marathwada and Vidarbha and is expected to strengthen with Cyclone Shaheen, the Indian meteorological department has warned.
