David Warner, an Australian batter, declared his retirement from One Day Internationals (ODIs). The two-time ODI World Cup winner had already declared that following Australia’s next Test match against Pakistan in Sydney, he would be calling it quits on his Test career. The opener, though, has declared that he will remain eligible to be chosen for the Champions Trophy in 2025.

In One-Day Internationals, Warner ranks sixth in Australia’s run scorer rankings and is second only to former captain Ricky Ponting in terms of most Australia innings scored in ODIs.
