As Twitter’s CEO, Linda Yaccarino will succeed Elon Musk. Just hours after NBCUniversal announced her departure, the wealthy mogul provided confirmation via a social media post on Friday night. He had earlier said that the incoming CEO would begin his or her duties in around six weeks.
“I’m pleased to welcome Linda Yaccarino to Twitter as its new CEO! Looking forward to working with Linda to create X, the all-encompassing app, on this platform,” he tweeted.
The update provided by Musk indicates that the newly appointed CEO will be largely concentrating on business operations. The CEOs of Tesla and SpaceX are presently examining new technology and product design.
