At the age of 36, former Premier League striker Loic Remy has declared his retirement from the football. Last season was his final with Ligue 1 Brest.
The forward spent five years in England’s top division playing for four different Premier League teams, but his time at Stamford Bridge is likely where he will be remembered best.
The Frenchman scored 12 goals in 47 appearances for Chelsea in 2015, helping the Blues win the Premier League and League Cup.
Prior to relocating to Las Palmas in 2017, he additionally represented Queens Park Rangers, Newcastle, and Crystal Palace.
Remy competed for France on the international stage, earning 30 caps and contributing seven goals. He also participated in the 2014 World Cup, as France advanced to the quarterfinals in Brazil.
