Neeraj_chopra1India’s Neeraj Chopra won the javelin gold medal in the Meeting Cidade de Lisboa in Lisbon on Thursday, with a toss of 83.18 meters recorded with his 6th and last attempt.
In the field of five Portuguese contenders, 23-year-old Chopra’s best toss was 83.18m, which ended up being a gold award-winning exertion as different contenders bombed cross the 80m imprint.
Chopra’s initial toss was 80.71m while his second and third attempts were no tosses.
