In another news last week, the Indian Election Commission rejected the agreement of entertainer Sonu Sood as the “symbol of the state” in Punjab, state election official S Karuna Raju said on Friday in Bollywood.
Sood was named the state’s “symbol” by the Election Commission of India over a year ago.
ECI rejected Sood’s agreement as a “national symbol” in Punjab on January 4, Punjab’s Supreme Election Commission S Karuna Raju said in a statement of authority.
