“No vaccination, No salary” for govt. employees in UP’s Firozabad

In a bid to energize Covid vaccination, the region organization here has requested that government employees won’t get their pay rates except if they are vaccinated, an authority said here on Wednesday.

MR. Gaur said that District Magistrate Chandra Vijay Singh has given an oral request of “no vaccination, no salary”.

According to the request, if a worker doesn’t take the Covid vaccine, the division will start acting and stop their compensation for May, Gaur said.

District treasury officials and other departmental heads have been offered headings to execute the request and were approached to make a rundown and guarantee vaccination, he said.

The CDO said that the workers are attempting to get themselves vaccinated in fear that their salary may be stopped.
