The Rajya Sabha on Tuesday passed the ‘Political race Laws (Amendment) Bill 2021’ to connect constituent roll information with the Aadhaar biological system in the midst of resistance leave.
The Bill was cleared by Lok Sabha on Monday later a short discussion.
The resistance needed the Bill to be alluded to a standing panel. Nonetheless, the public authority dismissed this interest.
Head of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge blew up at the Center and said that the Election Laws 2021 alteration bill was passed with practically no “conversation or discussion”. He considered it a “joke of popular government”.
Taking to Twitter, Kharge said, “Modi Govt has passed the Election Laws 2021 alteration bill with no conversation or discussion. The bill is infringing upon SC Puttaswamy judgment and will prompt mass disappointment. How might it be passed WITHOUT any DISCUSSION or SCRUTINY? It’s a joke of our popular government!”
