Beginning on August 23, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh will travel to the United States for four days. Secretary Austin, Mr. Singh’s US counterpart, will meet with him bilaterally during the visit. According to the Ministry of Defence, the visit takes place against the backdrop of the expanding momentum in US-Indian relations and defense cooperation on several fronts.
The India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership is anticipated to grow and expand even more as a result of the visit. A high-level roundtable discussion about current and upcoming defense collaborations with the US defense sector will be facilitated by Mr. Rajnath Singh. During the tour, he will also engage with the Indian community.
