The journey for the 20 outstanding winners of the Tata Steel Young Astronomer Talent Search (YATS) 2022–23 to the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Ahmedabad was launched off on Monday by Odisha’s Minister for Science & Technology, Ashok Chandra Panda.
Students from all around Odisha are participating in the voyage, which started on May 22, under the direction of Sanjulata Behera, the planetarium director. It will end on May 29, 2023, according to a statement.
Prominent officials, including Sarvesh Kumar, Corporate Communications Chief of Tata Steel, and Dr. Subhendu Patnaik, Deputy Director of Pathani Samanta Planetarium, attended the official launch of this inspirational tour at the Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar.
