Traffic Policeman Runs for 2 Km to Clear Way for Ambulance in Hyderabad

On Tuesday, an IPS officer from Hyderabad, Anil Kumar shared a heartwarming viral video in which one traffic policeman, G Babji can be seen running on a busy street in a bid to clear traffic for an ambulance coming from behind. The incident took place at Bank Street, Koti Area of the city.

Sharing the video, IPS Kumar tweeted “Hyderabad Traffic Police officer Babji of Abids Traffic PS clearing the way for an ambulance. Well done. HTP in the service of citizens”.

Apparently, G Babji ran for almost 2 km, beyond his jurisdiction, to make way for the ambulance. Twitter since then has been flooding with praises for his noble act. The Police Commissioner on Thursday rewarded the traffic constable and commended his dedication towards his job.
