The health of the Lander Module (LM) is normal. Deboosting was successfully completed on LM, resulting in a 113 km by 157 km orbit. On X, the ISRO announced that the second deboosting operation will take place on August 20, 2023, about 02:00 IST.
A clear image of Moon craters was captured by Chandrayaan 3’s Vikram lander using the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC). In addition, the Lander Imager (LI) Camera-1 recorded footage that gave viewers a peek of Earth, albeit in a scaled-down form.
