On Wednesday, Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of MSME and RTH, distributed electric potter wheels in Parbhani and Nanded districts of Maharashtra to 100 potter families. These families belong to 5 villages of Parbhani and 10 villages of Nanded. This gesture by Shri Gadkari is a critical step in the way forward for empowerment of Kumhar Sashaktikaran Yojana of Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). Members from each family were given 10-day training on using electric potter wheels by KVIC. Approximately, 400 people will benefit from this scheme. Shri Gadkari joined this event through video conferencing.
