R K Rana, a former MLA and ex-Minister of Bihar who was convicted in the multi-billion dollar Fodder fraud, died today at AIIMS in New Delhi. For better treatment, Mr Rana was transferred from the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi to the AIIMS in New Delhi.
Due to Mr Rana’s deteriorating health, RIMS Director Dr Kameshwar Prasad advised that he be relocated. In the meantime, Lalu Prasad was released from AIIMS New Delhi today after his reports were deemed to be stable.
Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav has been admitted to AIIMS New Delhi for further treatment after his reports at RIMS Ranchi were deemed to be unstable
