On Wednesday, Ola Electric delivered its first set of 100 S1 scooters in Chennai and Bengaluru. A special event was organized on this occasion by the company at its Bengaluru headquarters. Ola founder – Bhavish Aggarwal – was also present at this event.
As per initial announcement, the Ola scooters were to be delivered by October but there was delay from the company. As a result, customers started pressurizing Ola to deliver the scooters early.
The customers, who were delivered the e-scooters on Wednesday, were happy to receive them but complained that some promised features were yet not enabled in the scooters. The company, on the other hand, has said that all the remaining features of the e-scooter will be enabled through over-the-air software updates in a month.
