Himachal Pradesh became the first state in India to introduce
the first dose of Covid19 vaccine to 100% of the adult population.
State Minister of Health Rajiv Saizal said: “The state has very good
vaccinations. By November 30, we will give the second dose to 100% of the
population. “
All adults in Himachal Pradesh received their first dose of the Covid vaccine,
and to commemorate this achievement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address
the residents of Hill State on 6 September.
State The state has achieved the only difference in reaching the Percentage Target
for the First Covid Vaccine for All Citizens Age 18 and Over, Minister Jai Ram
Thakur said in a statement on Thursday.
Prime Minister Modi congratulated the state government and agreed to send out
digital addresses to residents of the state on September 6 and spoke to some of
the front line staff who have done exceptional work towards this goal, he
added.
Minister Ram Thakur made the comment during a videoconference in Shimla with
all senior government officials across the state.
Among the officers who attended the videoconference with the CM were the Deputy
Commissioners, Police Superintendent, Chief Physician, Medical College Superintendent,
Chief Physician, District Judge, and officers.
Thakur said Ministry of Health officials also spoke with Prime Minister Modi
and shared their views on how to make this vaccination campaign a success.
