Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari launched an eco-friendly, non-toxic wall paint developed by Khadi and Village Industries Commission today.
The ‘Khadi Prakritik Paint’ as “India’s first cow dung paint” is cost-effective, odorless with antifungal and anti-bacterial properties has been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
It will be made available in two forms-distemper paint and plastic emulsion paint. Khadi Prakritik Paint will generate additional income to farmers and gaushalas.
